Some of my best shots seem to happen when I'm playing around and not taking myself seriously - when I'm just trying new things for the hell of it. Over the past few months, I've been experimenting with intentional camera movement and in camera multiple exposures. Until Thursday I'd focused on landscape subjects. On Thursday I decided to find out what would happen if I tried it with people. I was trying to shoot my favourite local musicians, Capo Creek, but the lighting was tricky and creating all kinds of problems for me. After a G&T and a few shots I wasn't happy with, I thought to myself "OK, time to play". Here's one of the results. I think I'm going to play around with this some more.
