I just realised how much I have been neglecting my blog. I have been making images, but not prolifically.
I'll start with an update on the exhibition at the High Court. Putting it together was stressful and I almost walked away from it a couple of times. I wanted to show some liquid light images, but was having many more failures than successes as I experimented in the darkroom. I was also attempting duotone cyanotypes on fabric. Ended up with single tone. Still experimenting with getting the negatives right and separating the tones enough to create a successful print.
That said, I put up some images and at the official opening found out I had been awarded a residency at PhotoAccess. This is a fabulous opportunity for me and, photographically, the next few months are going to be busy.
Before I received that news I had booked a place on a workshop in NZ (South Island - The Catlins) - and I'm heading there at the end of March.
So that's all my news. Now I'll just share a couple of shots from my most recent outings - one to Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve and one to the National Gallery of Australia.
Hope you like them.
